Childhood of a Tree

The desire to live has made me tough. I fight the sun and weather, harsh & tough. The support is a cut down tree The remains of a cut down tree to be precise It gives me its full support Hid me for a while and saved my life. It held me firm when I tore my seed cover. It protected me from the boots of woodcutter It taught me the lessons of life, To be always positive and helpful. Learn to recognize the opportunity The life gives them plentiful Many just don’t see them, many ignore But the ones who try, do gain It easier to understand, tougher to practice To succeed we need to suffer pain These lessons I need to imbibe in my personality If I wish to be, one day, a huge Huge TREE -written on 2 August 2009. (7:55 pm) Sitting in office and getting bored. Trying to find a solution for an issue, I wrote this on my workstation’s desk along with a sketch. Maybe one day I would upload the snap of the sketch too
